I'm Frankie Gerraty (he/him, settler), an Australian-American ecologist and storyteller. I gather stories that help people notice and care for the more-than-human community of life. My research interests include coastal ecology, global change biology, and social-ecological systems. I strive to conduct rigorous, critical, and solutions-driven scholarship that improves environmental management, informs policy, and advances Indigenous sovereignty and justice. In my free time, I enjoy reading, surfing, listening to birds, raising houseplants, rock climbing, and exploring rocky intertidal zones.
